Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @sk-russell:

Our balcony in Prague was the perfect place to have scrambled eggs, a beer or a punnet of plump cherries. Six floors below the crowds streamed past, but we could gaze at the glorious view of St Nicholas church, the spires of St Vitus cathedral and the Prague castle in the background. Taken from the balcony of our bedsitter, prague, around 9.15 pm, just as they turned the lights on at the Castle.

One of the best bridges I've seen anywhere
To miss the crowds simply go straight after it's been raining. Much more pleasant. Otherwise it's filled with people. Charles bridge is a great place for a nice stroll, especially if you manage to do this early morning without the crowds. Its also a great site for photography.

Your image brings back a lot of memories from my childhood when our grandmother used to take us to Prague for sightseeing. One of the most pleasant stops at that age was bird feeding at the same spot. Great image to be featured today. Thank you so much. Tomas

Close-up of one of the iconic Prague statues called "Babies". Created by the famous Czech artist David Cerny, these babies can be found at two locations in Prague - most of them are installed on the Zizkov Lookout Tower and three more are situated right next to the Kampa Museum in the historic center of the city. This one is from Kampa.

Our 4:30am sunrise adventure on the Charles Bridge! This is of course a major attraction and almost always busy (except before 9am) but nevertheless it is beautiful and worth taking your time. There is such a beautiful view while crossing this bridge. It is like you are going into a different time zone and the architecture along the bridge is a photographers dream.

The best time to go:).....

The Prague astronomical clock is on a wall of the Old Town Hall in the Old Town Square. Here is a shot taken late one night when the streets had nearly cleared. This area is a bustling hub of activity during the day and into the evening.
According to local legend, the city will suffer if the clock is not well maintained and kept in good operating order.

Today's legion bridge linking Smíchov with the New Town was opened in 1901 replaced the original chain bridge from 1841. It did not meet the transport requirements, since it was not possible to drive the trams.

what atmospheric shot ~ ✨ ~

After crossing the Charles Bridge you can make your way up to the Old Prague Castle via these epic streets. Super old building, colours and even old cars... I just love the rich history of this city!

Great image Jaco!

Whenever we go to Prague we go to this chair. I know nothing about it and why it is really located there (in a little backyard just next to the Tyn cathedral), but to us, it is a special place we visit as we go to Prague.

I might have to check it out next time in town:)

Cool picture @sk-russell !

I share another of my photos from a park, this time it is Petřín hill, the park of lovers :D there is a great view of Prague's cityscape from there and this particular path ends in Kinskeho gardens another beautiful park.. one of my many fav. places in Prague

despite the high tourist season, one can still find peace in these gardens

Little shade in large square with crowds and street performers
Carnival-like atmosphere can include costumed characters and a giant polar bear who pose for photos with tourists for a fee. There are normally a lot of activities going on in the square such as street performers as well as meeting points for sightseeing trips round old town Prague. Street performers as well as the amazing buildings & architecture.

On a windy night during production break in relation to a film project that we both were entangled with I took this image of my new charming acquaintance Elena (- lead singer by Red Queen -) with the Prague Castle in the background ~ ❣️ ~ what I - besides all enchantment that the city itself provides - in fact remember best is how we were running through the narrow streets quite lost & desperately trying to catch the last train back to the village and little ˋZámek´ were we both had been housed...! Despite all stress an unforgettable moment in time ~ • ~ ✨ ~ • ~
