Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @khaan:

One of the best bridges I've seen anywhere. To miss the crowds simply go straight after it's been raining. Much more pleasant. Otherwise it's filled with people. Charles bridge is a great place for a nice stroll, especially if you manage to do this early morning without the crowds. Its also a great site for photography.

I rewarded @khaan winning entry with some extra upvote. Feel free to visit his blog and check out some of his other entries.

Golden Lane (Zlatá ulička) inside Prague Castle was one of my favorite spots, especially after hours. After most of the tourists have gone on to other things and all the shops close, Golden Lane becomes quiet and you can fully appreciate how lovely it is. The houses have been built along the outer wall of the castle, and apparently when they were first built in the 15th century, they were even smaller than they are now. As they fell into disrepair and rebuilt, their size grew slightly, but even so I find that they have retained their fairy-tale character. Golden Lane After Hours, very much redmended!

The Golden Lane has not been featured in a while and will make a great entry for today's contest. What a fabulous location to see on your visit to Prague. Thank you and have a great day. Tomas

Thanks Tomas for selecting my photograph. I have not visited many places like this, and come to think of it, none (which doesn't mean there aren't but I have not seen any others, which make Golden Lane all the more special).
It amazes me how you keep all these contests and posts going. You're doing a great job of it. Have a fabulous weekend!

The Church of Saints Cyril and Methodius, a majestic Roman Catholic church in the Karlín district of Prague, Czech Republic. The church is constructed in the style of late Neo-Romanesque basilica with highly elevated main nave and two towers.

What a great image, thank you for sharing.

Photo of the main dome and tower of the Church of St. Nicholas and a view of the city of Prague. It is one of the most important Baroque Churches of this city, it was built in the first half of the XVIII century and it is located at Malá Strana. I took this photo from the hill where the Castle is located. The sepia tone gives an interesting mood to the image .

Thank you so much for this wonderful entry. Love the image!

A picture of the National Museum that I made years ago, before all the renovation work started (is it over yet)? One of my favorite buildings in Prague, without a doubt!

Taken by me in the center of Prague... when at first glance I most definitely felt myself just perfectly represented in the monument in front of my eyes: a saint overthrown by fate ~ 🤗 ~ there however was no angelic being to be found at MY side... but my own spirit... which in a manner of speaking is probably the same in any case :)

Old town square is a really romantic place, only if it weren't so crowded ! The square has the famous astronomical clock, the St Nicholas Church and the old town hall.
Prague sleeps late so the best time to see this place properly is early morning when its virtually empty.

Lipno x2. Yes, on this photo you can see Lipno twice. The first one is a reservoir that fills the Vltava river and thanks to it you can go by canoe to Český Krumlov. The second one is the village Lipno nad Vltavou, which is the centre of winter and summer sports in this area of South Bohemia.
Ahoj!

Thank you so much for your participation. Love your image!

A very interesting structure near the Charles Bridge which is a must go for everyone who's here - especially if you're a Beatles and John Lennon fan. It's pretty amazing how few people grow beyond their field into something so much more - and read the wiki background while you are standing near it. It's very interesting. The visit will only take a minute - and please don't expect much as it's just a wall. Few of the images are for adults only - so take kids with proper guidance!

After see these photo I will remember my childhood here! My Homeland is always best. I am from Kadaň. I want to share of my photos to your blog.
It was very busy, huge groups of people. It’s beautiful, plenty of gorgeous buildings even without the clock which was being restored.
We loved the mix of old and new in the Old Town Square.

I have a question! Can i share my photos with self photo or just natural & architecture photos? Recently i will sharing my introduce post & sharing here my some of photos, I wish you will selected one. Thank you.

Sure thing! I am looking forward to more of your entries. Have a great weekend. Tomas

When you get to these gardens after visiting the Castle and St. Vitus Cathedral, you simply enjoy the peace and tranquility of this place. A beautiful, well-kept park with many trees, flowers, fountains, sculptures. Even in this park, we accidentally found a free exhibition of birds, which we really liked. A walk through the Royal Gardens allows you to relax from the noise of the city and enjoy the contemplation of nature. Entrance to the gardens is free, but in the evening they are closed.
