WARNING: The use of images that are not your own on which you claim the ownership will be flagged and/or reported to @steemcleaners - HELPING TO STOP PLAGIARISM ON STEEMIT

Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @liltammy:

The Metropolitan Cathedral of Saints Vitus, Wenceslaus and Adalbert is a Roman Catholic metropolitan cathedral in Prague and it also serves as the seat of the Archbishop of Prague. It is a prominent example of Gothic architecture and is the largest and most important church in the country, located within the complex of the Prague Castle.

I rewarded @liltammy entry with some extra upvote. Feel free to visit her blog and check out some of her other entries.

Thank you for your submissions. Have a great day and keep on Steeming!

Telč is a town in southern Moravia, in the Czech Republic. This small town was founded in the 13th century as a royal water fort on the crossroads of busy merchant routes between Bohemia, Moravia and Austria. Apart from relaxing ponds you can see "classic Netherlands houses" and lots of tower peaks. :)

Cheers!

In 1740 Wroclaw ceased to be part of the Czech lands. Now it's in Poland.

Hahahahaha I feel ashamed :D hahahahaha damn too many beers. :)
sorry folks from Poland :) edit is coming :)

Great to see you managed to edit your entry and happy to see Telc entering the contest. What a fantastic place to visit.

Old Town Square - One of the favorite places in Prague! Shtorkhovsky house. On the facade are several frescoes, among which is St. Wenceslas on horseback. The balcony is made in neo-gothic style. Colored facades of houses create a feeling of fabulous place. Agree, not in any city in Europe, you can see such architecture in such quantities.

Charles University in Prague

Only the Pope could establish a university in the Middle Ages. But Emperor Charles IV. the Pope convinced in 1348. It was the first university north of the Alps.
Charles bought some houses for it. Other buildings were build. Conversions continue to the present.

The Mahen's theatre in Brno has got one priority. It was built in 188-1882 (within 15 months) and was the first theatre in Europe continent wher gas lamps were substituted for electric bulbs.
