Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @haydae-shots:

The Church of St. Nicholas is located in the charming district of Mala Strana under the Prague Castle Hill. With its baroque architecture and blue top, the church is easily recognizable from every panorama of Prague.

Hello Tomas and Steemit friends.
This is the picture of unique Pravcicka brana near Hrensko in Czech-Saxon Switzerland. The nature here is wild and romantic, river Kamenice flows there through canyons and rocks are modelled in various shapes. Ideal place for active vacancy.

Great image and amazing piece of nature to be displayed in today's contest. Thank you and have a great day. Tomas

Thank you Tomas for nice comment and upvote.

Front view of the main gate of the famous Kravare Chateau, a majestic Baroque chateau located in the little Silesian town of Kravare. The building was first mentioned in the first half of the 16th century but its current shape was formed during a reconstruction between 1721 and 1728. The chateau also includes a museum, permament exhibitions, vast English-style parks and even a golf course.

Photo of the main nave of St. Vitus Cathedral at Prague Castle. It is magnificent example of Gothic religious architecture, with its high arches and huge windows on the upper deck that give a very good light, as it can be seen in the photo. Also the ceiling is quite interesting with the zig-zag pattern of the veins.

Prague offers among many others also quite unusual museum - Museum of public transport. I was surprised how many various buses and trams were actually used over the years in Prague. On the picture are 2 most known sibling vehicle brands in Czechoslovakia - left one is Skoda and the right one is Tatra. There were even an old bus stop signs and designs. Overall, it was for sure worth visiting! :)

Great entry! I am glad to see something different from time to time.

Haha I actually knew you'll like it :D I have like 20 more, so let's see what u'll say after I post al of 'em, day by day :D

One of such very memorable sights is the Old Town Square.
The famous Astral chiming clock is on the south side of the tower, near them there is always a large number of tourists. There are several reasons. Vo-the first, on their own, they are very beautiful and unique. The Orloy's chimes show the zodiacal location of the Moon and the Sun and three hourly measurements: the Arabic numerals show the Old Bohemian time, the Roman numerals indicate the Central European time, the planetary time is separately displayed.
Secondly, every hour there is a real representation, the clock comes to life, the figures begin to move. Better to see once than hear a hundred times.

That entrance is just something else! Love it.

The collection of the National Technical Museum’s bicycles is one of the oldest and highest-quality collections in the world. The founder of this originally private collection, Augustin Vondřich, began collecting bicycles at the beginning of the 20th century and amassed an exceptional collection featuring a number of unique objects not found anywhere else in the world.

Český Krumlov is one of my most favourite places not even in the Czech Republic, but in Europe! Why is it so? Those narrow historical streets, the river curving through the town and the castle as a dominant could make anyone feels like in the past times! If you never been there, you definitely should visit this historical pearl of the Czech Republic, which is part of UNESCO!
Ahoj!

What a beautiful image. Thank you so much for sharing with all of us.

if I remember rightly I think I took this picture form the Charles Bridge. You can appreciate the St. Vitus Cathedral surrounded by the castle district, also at the left you can see the Church of Saint Nicolas with its green dome and the beautiful houses and apartments which makes a hell of a view..

Zamek Mikulov
This castle is situated in the top of the hill in Mikulov city. The walk there is covered with beautiful historical buildings. The castle has small but very nice garden. The interior is a museum with very nice things from history of Dietrichstein family (dresses, family tree, historic paintings). There is beautiful view from its terrace to the garden and also to the city and the Holy hill covered with 12 chapels right oposite the castle.

Železná Ruda is a city in the Pilsen region of the Czech Republic, walking through its streets I have found this trunk of tree adorned with little houses for birds, I love as in any city there are artistic wonders of any style.
