Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @phortun:

I recently spent some time at my parents´ cottage in the Czech countryside where I love to just grab my camera and head out into the fields, meadows and forests to enjoy some relax in nature. The weather was unusually windy and cloudy one afternoon but that did not stop me from sticking to my habit. Quite the opposite actually - I was eager to go out and take some nice dramatic shots of the sky and the landscape. Here is one of them. The meadow is located just outside of the village of Nove Lublice, Silesia.

Our balcony in Prague was the perfect place to have scrambled eggs, a beer or a punnet of plump cherries. Six floors below the crowds streamed past, but we could gaze at the glorious view of St Nicholas church, the spires of St Vitus cathedral and the Prague castle in the background. Taken from the balcony of our bedsitter, prague, around 9.15 pm, just as they turned the lights on at the Castle.

We sure have an amazing image to feature today! Have a great day. Tomas

Beautiful picture! Really like it!

What a click!

Magnificent skies, beautiful shot!

Thank you so much for picking my shot Tomas, I am glad you liked that landscape :) I am coming with another one today but this photo was taken from the Hans Kudlich Lookout Tower in Uvalno - a little Silesian village that was recently voted the Moravian - Silesian Region village of the year.

Other polemic sculpture of the contemporary Czech artist David Černý. Many of his works are in public places of Prague. This particular sculpture is at the Kafka Museum, a place visited by many tourists. In the background of the image can be seen the entrance of the museum.

Walking through the centre of Prague, you will often hear the signature jingling sound of streetcars. Trams are an inherent part of the Czech Republic’s capital. Public transport in Prague is cheap, efficient and highly integrated.
With the tram, you can have access to the city of Prague and places, where the bus can not enter.

The castle in Mladá Boleslav has been in the 10th century. In the 13th century it was rebuilt into a Gothic style, in the 16th century a Renaissance chateau. It was rebuilt in the 18th century, this time the barracks. It has been a barracks until the 1950s. Then he folded it as a textile store until 1972. And until then, he was in the reconstruction until the early 1990s.

"Prebischtor" (tschechisch: Pravčická brána), near Hrensko. A natural bridge of stone is one of the popular sights in the bohemian part of the sandstone mountains. A nice little restaurant and Art-Gallery (photographs) invites the visitors to stay for a while to have a delicious Pilsner and Gulash ;)

A picture I took a couple of years ago from the Petrin Tower. It was an amazing view towards the city from there, and here you can especially see the Tyn Cathedral and the Old Town Square.

In beautiful Český Krumlov ~ very soon I should sit overlooking the rooftops of Prague itself ~ and as highly ridiculous as highly tragic consequence of one particular conversation there experience my whole world exploding into a fireball of blood & pain as fiercely red as my hair is in this image here ~ ☄️ ~

A beautiful view of all of the couples of placing padlocks on the charles bridge to announce their love. They cut them off every year and more tourists put them on each year.
