Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great weekend! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @khaan:

Strahov monastery houses a very famous photo opportunity of a beautiful old library. as an individual you can still poke your head in and capture that iconic image. Don’t miss the on display illuminated manuscripts. You have to pay to enter, pay more to take pictures and pay a little bit more to take videos.

Petřín Lookout Tower
I've been told it's the best view in Prague, and I believe it! Not as daunting as the Eiffel Tower to climb, it is worth ascending or descending by the stairs. It's the only way to get to the first viewing level, which is unobstructed. Once you make it to the top there will probably be someone standing there looking down the stairs at you sweating your tail off but it's worth it!

Yep, truly amazing views and fantastic walk up and down. Great place to spent around that area and highly recommended to anyone. Fabulous entry for today's contest.

Colloquially known just as the Opava Cathedral, the Our Lady of the Assumption Co-Cathedral is a majestic Catholic church found in the historic center of Opava, facing the Silesian Theater, another iconic landmark of the city. I took this shot right after the sunset, a couple of days ago.

A couple of residential/commercial buildings on a corner, located near the Jewish Quarter (Josefov) of Prague. These buildings are of the second half of the XIX century and painted in the traditional Habsburg yellow colour. The ornaments on the roofs are made in a style that imitates the famous gothic towers of Prague.

Cesky Krumlov
It'll probably take 30 minutes to walk around the town but it'll take you hours to get lost in the side streets! I truly enjoyed walking and getting lost here. Everything is so cute and beautiful. I particularly enjoyed staying at one of those restaurants by the river then walk up and down the river and truly enjoy the buzzing tourist scene or the quieter nature walk.

A St. Nicholas Cathedral has stood in the Old Town since the 13th century. If you're saying this looks too new to be that old (especially if you know architectural styles), you're right. It was partially destroyed by the French when they invaded in the 17th century. So in the 18th century the church was torn down and reconstructed. A beautiful baroque church took it's place.

Prague is such a fascinating town because it avoided the brunt of two World Wars, but that doesn't mean it remained unscathed throughout it's history.

It's like unwrapping a gift. Heading through to the Western bank of the Vltava via the Charles Bridge. Much to explore on this side of Prague. Wonderful road for walking and enjoying own self!

Church Of St. Nicholas
I decided to kill some time and hang around waiting for the Old Town Square to be lit up and I was greatly rewarded. 😍It is very nice view from the outside, but when you enter you run out of words. It really is to see it at night view.

Building of the Faculty of Law in Prague

After the establishment of the Czechoslovak Republic in 1918, the new state lacked both representative government buildings and the seat of important institutions.
During the construction of these buildings did not save money and the best architects were invited. Buildings had to be modern and magnificent.
This building was built in 1924-1931 at the suggestion of Jan Kotěra.

View from Charles Bridge to one of the most amazing buildings in terms of architecture. The palace rises high above the neighboring structures and thus it could be photographed from virtually endless angles. In this take I use the close but defocused walls, sculptures and even people as a frame to the distant spiry giant.

Bridges of Prague
I heard that there are 18 bridges in Prague. I looked for a higher place and found a hilltop. There is a nice view of Prague. You can overlook many bridges on the Vltava river there. That's beautiful!
