See the winner of the last week´s African Wednesday @axeman with the following entry:

African sunrise. Early morning at Hurghada, Egypt. Very calm and wonderfully colorful one. Shot at the beach just on the territory of the hotel. This time sun already risen, but hided behind narrow line of clouds on the horizon, allowing to get few more pretty unusual frames with a sunbeams spreading both to the top and to the bottom. Some silhouettes of the boats far away... Shot with long tele-photo lens compressing the perspective. Enjoy the scenery :)

@bluebottlefilms Tuesday of Antarctica and World´s Oceans entry:

The beauty and grace of these creatures is astonishing. They glide effortlessly around our oceans impressing all that pass them by. This particular one had an interesting colouration that I had not seen before.

Pillars at the Karnak temple - Luxor, Egypt.
This temple in Luxor is amazing! There is around 134 of these pillars that have hieroglyphs carved into them. They say that they built these pillars by placing the first piece into place then surrounding it with sand to move the second piece into place on top and so on, untill they built the pillar up to 70 feet high. Then carving the pillars on the way down while removing the sand.

Aswan skies

Pretty amazing day spent in Aswan, Egypt while cruise up the Nile from Luxor. Took the boat to visit local botanical garden and some place around, like Nubian village.
Perfect golden sandy dunes and extraordinary skies patterns very well combined this day into this single shot

Enjoy the scenery!

Bahia Palace, Marrakech

Only small parts of this huge palace in Marrakech are accessible to the public. Bahia palace was built in the 19th century living up to the meaning of the word "Bahia" which translates to "brilliance" - few other palaces are as beautiful as this one.

I have also posted this photo on my blog.

Here is the chapel of Hathor, that can be found on the Philae island, Egypt.
Philae, is an island submerged in the 1970s by the rising lake level following the construction of the high dam of Aswan. The temples and monuments built on the island during the Pharaonic and Greco-Roman eras were moved to the nearby island of Aguilkia.

DOUZ, DOOR OF DESERT

It is here, in Douz, that the Great Eastern Erg begins with its ocher dunes of fine sand.
Leave behind palms loaded with dates, the brackish waters of Chott el Jerid and the pink mountains of Jebel Tebaga.
In Douz, the oasis fights against the desert, which moves inexorably.

It's always a pleasure to support your competition Tomas and the value you bring to the #Steem Blockchain.

Keep up the great work.

Stephen
