It is my great pleasure to announce the winner of African Wednesday. I would like to say huge thank you to all the participants for their great entries. The number of entries yesterday was very good with many high-quality images so it was extremely hard to decide on the winning one. Tinghir Ruins, Morocco. Until a few decades ago, houses in Tinghir, a small town in Morocco, were built next to the river. Now that tap water is available and a convenient access to roads and infrastructure has become more important, these mud-brick houses have been abandoned. The ruins located in the green oasis make for some great exploring!

At the ending of the day, when the sun is setting and the sky shine of warm colours comes the best time to get the board out. Bali is a nice place to do so and I always loved sitting on the beach watching the show!

The photography I posted represents dolphins of... Cocos Keeling Islands, which are Autralian Islands in Indian Ocean. A group of them have got used to visit the anchorage several times a week and were happy to pose in front of my camera. I'm sure they have heard about @czechglobalhosts and wanted to be posted for the Australian Monday contest. Done !

@axeman Tuesday of Antarctica and World´s Oceans entry:
Ice soldiers. The coast of Baltic Seaa t Sventoji, Lithuania. A small city about 40km from Klaipeda. The remaons of old piers looks just stunning after certain periods of cold weather with ice hats on the tops caused by constantly hitting waves. This evening was very calm and got some colors only at the very sunset. A bit of long exposure to "move" the clouds. Enjoy it!
