Welcome to my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - African Wednesday - where the winner of the weekly round will be able to participate for the total of 200 SBD!
Today, you can participate by submitting your personal pictures from your travels to the continent of Africa.
See the winner of the last week´s African Wednesday @jpphotography with the following entry:
Mountain Road in Morocco. This photogenic road marks the ascend from Tinghir valley to the Atlas mountains. Despite its location between the popular tourist destinations Marrakech and the Sahara, this region of Morocco gets only few visitors.
Your entries need to be submitted by 8 AM Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.
Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total.

Starting the day with a view: this photo was taken in the second day of 2018. And the year started with a great ballon ride, during sunrise. For what we were told, due to weather conditions no flights had been done for over a week, so that day there was a hue amount of balloons flying. We didn't had a clear sky, but with views like this... it wasn't a problem! Edit: photo taken in Capadocia, Turkey.

It does not get more iconic than the Sydney opera house. At first nobody wanted it - now everybody on this planet knows this piece of architecture and identifies it with Sydney. Best seen like in this picture, is the opera house from the base of the habour bridge right by the Hyatt Sydney. I marked the exact spot on steemitworldmap.com.

ColorChallenge - Purple Sunday - @karma-panorama in 7 World's Continents Photo Challenge!
The sad news of Ethiopian Airlines plane crash has brought my memory back to my solo trip in the country. This photo was shot in Addis Ababa in a late afternoon. A dreamy shade was cast on the enormous overpass, vehicles, pedestrians and the shining wet ground. I couldn’t help catching this great lighting. :)
This is the Mohammed Ali Mosque in Cairo, Egypt. Its construction is largely inspired by Ottoman cannons and It takes the same plan of the big imperial mosques such as the blue mosque. This mosque is also the house of the marble tomb of Mohammed Ali.

I am afraid there is not all too much to see in this image from your holiday in Tunisia some longer while ago — yet since I have it I might just as well post it...! ~ I definitely remember the colour WHITE as the most dominant one at the location where we stayed and the long archways like in this photograph here... & of course the AIR which seemed of such very different ˋtexture´ than at our home in Central Europe ~ ✨ ~
