Hello fellow Steemians!

I am starting the week #56 of my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge and we are back to the continent of Asia.

If you like to participate, place your personal image from your travels in Asia in the comment section below with a short 30 to 50 word description. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.

Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total. So far I have given out thousands of dollars in upvotes and hundreds of SBD in rewards.

After today´s Asian photo contest, the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge will be followed as per below rotation and then starting again with Asia on next Sunday.

• Monday: Australia and New Zealand
• Tuseday: Antarctica + the world’s oceans
• Wednesday: Africa

• Friday: North America
• Saturday: South America

See the winner of the last week´s Asian Sunday @vinceboisgard with the following entry:

Trekking the Himalayas is such a wonderful experience, the views are stunning even breathtaking! It is a physical walk but for the locals, carrying huge bags of rice wearing pyjamas pants while walking in the snow is a routine! I always was amazed by them overtaking me on the way!

Luang Prabang in northern Laos is situated at the meeting point of the Mekong River and the Nam Khan River. The natural beauty of lush green and vibrant colors are everywhere you look. I took this photo at sunset overlooking the river before enjoying an incredible dinner!

Ping'an Village and Rice terraces near Guilin
Last year we visited the rice terraces north of Guilin in China. Even though it was a cloudy day, we enjoyed the whole day walking up and down the trails, visiting an old local woman with her granddaughter at the village of Ping'an and I had the chance to fly my drone over the endless rice terraces. At the visitor center and online you'll find image of the terraces during the four seasons. It must be spectecular to see the rice fields during the snowy winter time.

Taipei 101 at Golden Hour

A few days ago, I was in the centre of Taipei when I spotted this beautiful sky behind Taipei 101. The wide angle-lens I used on this photo makes the huge skyscraper look way smaller than it is: Taipei 101 used to be the highest building in the world and is still way taller than any other building in Taiwan.

Probably the most amazing highlight of our China trip was the Zhangjiajie National Forest. These stone pillars have a height of more than 300 meters and are also known as Avatar mountains.

I've been there. Really cool place:)

Indonesia has a very interesting tourism potential, one of the most enchanting areas of Aceh. And this is one of the places in Aceh that is most visited by foreign and local tourists. yes. The lhokseudu beach tourism destination in Aceh is a very beautiful place at sunset. With a very interesting building, this place is one of the many beautiful tourist sites.

The Great Wall Lake in Huanghuacheng 70km outside of Beijing was my favorite part of the Great Wall to visit when I was living in Beijing. Not many tourists around and the scenery is amazing. The Lake is a nice spot to chill out at and escape the busy city for a bit.

Out of all the islands I've visited within the Philippines, the island of Siargao remains my absolute favourite and you can see why. The scene captured here from the sky is of Cloud 9 Pier, a top surf spot and perfect place for a red sunset. With silky, blue waters and white sands like these, you'll never want to leave this island once you visit!

Haha, this must be a coincidence! My friend just send me a message about this place and I went on google to look it up an then I see your entry:)

This photo was taken in Nusa Lembongan, near Bali. This is one of the biggest beaches in the island, and apparently also one with a lot of local seaweed farms. Seaweed farming is an important source of revenue for the local communities, and means hard work! Here, some of the locals working, near sunset.

Golden waters

Well, quite no wonder that UAE (United Arab Emirates) are so reach, that have golden waters in the sea as well :D
But to be serious, simply insane colorful sunset caught at the beach in Ajman, the smallest Emirate.
Caught the wave motion on a bit long exposure to bring some dynamics to the picture

Enjoy it!
