in #travel6 years ago (edited)

Hello fellow Steemians!

It is my great pleasure to announce the winner of 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Australian Monday. I would like to say huge thank you to all the participants for their great entries. The number of entries yesterday was very good with many high-quality images so it was extremely hard to decide on the winning one. I encourage you to check the entries as they really were all stunning.

You can see all entries and participants in this post: 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Australian Monday week #42 - the absolute winner takes 200 SBD!

Please give a huge shout out to the best ten competitors for taking part in the challenge and sharing their photos and experience with all of us here on Steemit:

@mibreit-photo @bluebottlefilms @jpphotography @vinceboisgard @betterthanhome @pablob @eoj @davedavis91 @kakkalama @revo

It would be great if you can visit their blogs and appreciate their awesome photography skills with some upvotes.

However, the winner is only one and that is for me picture posted by @bluebottlefilms with the following entry:

It's whale season again across the south east coast of Australia. Keep an eye out for those spurts, especially around dawn. The low position of the sun makes the spurts glimmer on the surface during this time, making them much easier to see.

What a great contribution from @bluebottlefilms to the photo challenge! I have visited @bluebottlefilms blog and upvoted his post called: The fruit bats of Komodo. @bluebottlefilms amazing entry from Australia is qualifying for the weekly challenge where it will be competing against the previous and upcoming winners of the week:

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Asian Sunday week #42 - winner announcement!

@jpphotography Asian Sunday entry:

Railay Beach Viewpoint, Thailand. Located near Krabi, Railay Beach is a popular spot for rock climbing. I do some rock climbing myself, but in Railay I went on a different kind of climbing trip when I scrambled up a small trail to reach this beautiful viewpoint - covered in mud.

Here in Côte d’Ivoire, Azagny National Park, formed of primal forest and marshes, is an ecosystem favorable to the settlement of the pachyderms. I visit here for sight seeing , and its proximity to Abidjan encourages ecotourism in the park, I love seeing the animals, and sometimes I ride on there backs to some distance, and it's really beautiful viewing them from the other side of the park both young and old.

You have to be up early to get a shot like that!

Awesome !! The whale photo is beautiful!!

This challenge is growing with the passage of time just because of your hard work and fair decisions , thumps up!
