7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Asian Sunday week #77 - winner announcement!

@pardinus Asian Sunday entry:

Starting the day with a view: this photo was taken in the second day of 2018. And the year started with a great ballon ride, during sunrise. For what we were told, due to weather conditions no flights had been done for over a week, so that day there was a hue amount of balloons flying. We didn't had a clear sky, but with views like this... it wasn't a problem! Edit: photo taken in Capadocia, Turkey.

@gunnarheilmann Australian Monday entry:

It does not get more iconic than the Sydney opera house. At first nobody wanted it - now everybody on this planet knows this piece of architecture and identifies it with Sydney. Best seen like in this picture, is the opera house from the base of the habour bridge right by the Hyatt Sydney. I marked the exact spot on steemitworldmap.com.

You have already found yourself face to face with an animal of a size such that its presence is in itself a means of communication. The feeling of being questioned, analyzed, scanned! Unforgettable.

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - African Wednesday week #77 - winner announcement!

@itchyfeetdonica African Wednesday entry:

The sad news of Ethiopian Airlines plane crash has brought my memory back to my solo trip in the country. This photo was shot in Addis Ababa in a late afternoon. A dreamy shade was cast on the enormous overpass, vehicles, pedestrians and the shining wet ground. I couldn’t help catching this great lighting :)

Let me share with you this amazing photo of classic old cuban car with El Capitolio (most famous landmark of Havana) in the background. This impressive building is located in the heart of Old Havana, but it currently is under renovation. It’s supposed to be a replica of the legendary US Capitol.Now home to the Cuba Academy of Sciences, El Capitolio was once the HQ of the Cuban congress.

Photo of Mount Rundle in Banff National Park (Alberta, Canada). The shape of this mountain is unmistakable. In Banff you can find plenty of mountains, lakes, river and wild life. It is a very beautiful place.

Hi guys!
Some of you might remember me. I was participating at Tomas’s daily challenges almost every day in the past. Now it is already 4 months since my last post. I have to admit, I missed Steemit!

My today’s entry is with my favorite place in America, and maybe in the whole world…
That is Yellowstone National Park. You maybe saw photo like my before. That hot spring is one of the most famous in the world, called Grand Prismatic Spring.

No, this Statue of Liberty isn't located in New York but in Las Vegas. It is located in front of the hotel New York New York, which has an own roller coaster. It is a mid price hotel located directly at the strip.

Mount Kerkeslin in Jasper Alberta. Taken in the timeline of early November, where the frost was beginning to build up on the side of the river. This is what it used to look like before the pine beetle infection that has been devastating in the past two years, I will most likely never see it in this state in my lifetime as the trees that were 200 years old are now dead or dying. Why I do photography, to keep forever memories and to monitor an ever changing landscape.

"If you going to San Fransisco ... " Who doesnt have that tune in is ear now. Scott McKenzie created that earwig in 1967. The iconic Golden Gate Bridge as part of High Way 101 was finished in 1937 and stands like no other bridge of its kind for this City on the West Cost of Califonia.

This shot of a marsh estuary was taken in Ontario, Canada, the province of a thousand lakes. These are the areas where Canadians build there bolt-hole cottages in the north, to get away from the city and enjoy the fresh air and the green of nature. This is access route to a remote cottage

From my recent post

New Hampshire, USA is a nice place for any nature lover. It was a cold cloudy day but still loved my day. The view from the submit was beautiful and worth the long hike. I will definitely go back on a sunny day to have an even better experience.

The Sphinx In Winter
A mellow intrusion of soft light at sunset brings forth a gentle richness of color. The scenery is then enhanced by a generous amount of fresh white snow with excellent reflective quality. I found this to be a most memorable excursion!

This magical moment was captured in Sedona Arizona USA on 2-18-2019.
