Thale Noi Lotus Lake, South Thailand. Today I share a image which I took last weekend on one of the most beautiful lakes during sunrise I've ever seen. It's a lotus flower lake in the south of Thailand surrounded by breathtaking landscape.

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – Tuesday of Antarctica and World´s Oceans week #89 – winner announcement!

@jpphotography Tuesday of Antarctica and World´s Oceans entry:

Dark Clouds over New Zealand Beach. I don't remember on which of New Zealand's countless beaches I took this shot, but I believe it was somewhere on the North Island's West Coast. Despite the dark clouds in this photo, I was lucky to have almost no rain during seven weeks in this beautiful country.

While on a bush walk in the Okavango Delta in Botswana, we came across this Zebra family. Not long after, the rest of the herd emerged from the bushes and they all started to run past us then joined up with a herd of wilderbeast of in the distance. It's amazing to see all the wild life Africa has to offer.

Biogradsko Jezero represents the largest mountain lake in Montenegro. It is located on Mount Bjelasica, and wooden environment makes the most beautiful part of the national park Biogradska Gora. Water is supplied by glacier melting from the mountains and during the autumns it's usually low, as it can be seen on the photo.

Cenote Yax Kin is a beautiful cenote with crystal clear waters. It is located between Playa Del Carmen and Tulum in the Riviera Maya. The cenote is a recently open cenote to the public. It is well landscaped and a nice place to spend an afternoon. Since it is less known and a little further away, you will find more locals here then tourists.

Latin America is known for an amazingly vivid street art scene and I have seen quite a lot of impressive pieces at different places and countries there but it probably was on the Mexican island of Holbox where I admired the most beautiful street art so far. This is one of the most iconic art works of the island.

Nejkrásnejší!!

Another goodie from Banff National park. This is a view of Cascade Mountain and the small resort town of Banff at the bottom from the top of Sulfur Mountain at over 7000 ft in altitude. In april, most of the snow in the valleys is melted leaving snow covered peaks until summer. Taking pictures from high altitudes results in a blue haze when looking down below, fighting with the atmosphere, much like when looking up at the sky, it appears blue, same concept but reverse.

Above San Francisco. It‘s easy to visit the Coit Tower to have a 360 view all over the fantastic city of SF. We walked up the hill towards the tower what’s also great because every time you look back down the steep roads you have a different view. Enjoy your weekend 😃👍🏻

Evening in Meridith New Hampshire
The small town of Meridith is in New Hampshire and is surrounded by water bodies and the colorful plantations and the trees. The location is very famous for Fall colors as the colored trees show their variant colors and the exact reflections. You have a nice board walk from where you can view the beautiful Meridith.

I took this on a summer day on a drive up the Oregon Coast. This is an area known as Cape Perpetua. You can drive or hike to this point. I chose to drive this day, the hike can be somewaht brutal. :) Taken by me with a Nikon D3300.

The bayous spread all over southern Louisiana, can be navigated for thousands of miles. Here, we can see several trees with their root completely submerged. The atmosphere is very special, especially that we must remain silent so as not to frighten the animals that we hope to meet.

Mystic Mountains
There are many places in these mystic mountains and canyons where man has never set foot. Going back to Clovis Culture more than 10,000 years ago, prehistoric man lived and survived here in remote locations we mostly consider to be inaccessible. Sedona Arizona USA.

Willis Creek Slot Canyon, Utah.

It's an amazing and fun hike to do. It's rather easy to find and it's nice, especially like we did in the summer heat, to walk in the creek and get some water over you.
At some point the canyon is not too high, but at some point the walls are so high, it's an incredible experience.
Just make sure if you go in the summer to take enough water for drinking during the hike, since the temperatures can be extremely high
