@crazy-andy Tuesday of Antarctica and world's oceans entry:

Ohhh it was about 5 months ago when my computer broke down... I lost all my photographies on it. Thanks God, I have had backup but was not able to get access to it till today. So finally I am able to share my memories through photos with you again, my dear friends. Let's start with Seychelles. Great destination, from which we don't get to see a lot of photos. I always tought that it is too expensive to visit this islands, but when I went there second time, total costs for a weekly vacations for two of us were less than 1.300 EUR! So that beautiful beach below is totally worth it :)

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – African Wednesday week #106 – winner announcement!

@vcclothing African Wednesday entry:

While on a bush walk in the Okavango Delta in Botswana, we came across this herd of Zebra. They were on their way to join forces with a herd of wildebeest for the night. As Zebra have very good eye sight and wildebeest have very good smell, they stick together at night for more chance of surviving through the night.

Police on horses guaring a cultural event on Plaza Bolivar, the main square of the Colombian capital city of Bogota. The square, previously called Plaza Mayor until 1821 and Plaza de la Constitución, is located in the heart of the historical area of the city and hosts a statue of Simón Bolívar.

Photo taken during the golden hour in Antofagasta. You can see the ship that is waiting to enter in the port of the city, where many of the cooper exports of Chile are shipped abroad. The mood of the image is quite interesting, the ship looks like suspend in the air.

Beautiful spectacle of the golden hour, after hiding the sun, beautiful colors that unfold in the sky. It is something that always leaves me ecstatic, and I enjoy it very much. I took this photo from Paseo Colón, Puerto la Cruz, a coastal city, located in Anzoátegui state, Venezuela.

In the Eduardo Avaroa National wildlife area, there is a geyser field located between 4,800 and 5,000 meters above sea level. There is a lot of geothermal activity in this area, so jets escaping geysers can reach a height of 10 to 50 meters; We have to be careful where we walk. Not far from there, in Termas de Polques, we can swim in thermal pools with natural water at 40 ° C, it was a good time.

Village of Mucuchies

Mucuchies.jpg

The population of Mucuchíes is located in the Venezuelan Andes in the state of Mérida, its name is of indigenous origin. Before the conquest the Mucuchíes Indians occupied those highlands. It is a typical population of the moor of straight streets and some colonial mansions of tapia with old moistened fabrics and worn wooden doors.

I am water type of person.
I preffer summer over winter and I am not skiing, but love to swim.
From young age I always liked everything connected with water, lakes rivers, falls, sea... I have luck to be living in beautiful country which offers everything as above, but still we don't have anything close to world most impressive waterfalls - Iguazu Falls!

This photograph is from the Fortin de la Galera on Margarita Island - Venezuela. Place surrounded by sea and boats that create beautiful landscapes. In addition, it is a place where historical moments of battles that are emblematic in this area occurred.

Sunset in Playa Lído. Lechería-Venezuela.
We can really observe wonderful sunsets in Playa Lído, I always walk along the boardwalk to have a better view of the sunset, and enjoy it in its fullness. I particularly love coming here, in addition to seeing this beautiful sunset, I really enjoy watching the waves in the sea that move in a rhythmic way, feeling the fresh air that is generated in this place is wonderful.
