Sunrise on the Margarita Island. This is a beautiful sunrise of the first day of October on the island of Margarita. I did not have to go far, it was leaving my house. Definitely for me it is a privilege to be able to see both the sunsets and the sunrises in this area.

@vinceboisgard Asian Sunday entry:

Trekking the Himalayas is such a wonderful experience, the views are stunning even breathtaking! It is a physical walk but for the locals, carrying huge bags of rice wearing pyjamas pants while walking in the snow is a routine! I always was amazed by them overtaking me on the way!

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Tuesday of Antarctica and World´s Oceans week #55 - winner announcement!

@bluebottlefilms Tuesday of Antarctica and World´s Oceans entry:

This one is fresh out of the water. Although the waves were small, it allowed me to get right up close to the impact zone. The water was only about half a meter deep so keeping an eye on the sets was important to avoid being flattened on the reef.

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - African Wednesday week #55 - winner announcement!

@axeman African Wednesday entry:

Aswan at Dusk. True photographers seems to never sleep, especially while travelling :) Joking of course, but still some truth in those words exist when coming to landscape photography, since most amazing shots you can get while dusk or dawn. So here we go, early morning in Aswan, the morning when we arrived there by cruise ship from Luxor.
Shot with long tele-photo lens from the upper deck of the ship. Enjoy the scenery :)

Eiffel Tower. As always when I visit Paris, I must always go to see the Eiffel Tower. It is a pity that it is not ranked among the 7 wonders of the world to really visit, especially the night, ohh my god that it is beautiful! It is wonderfully unavoidable!

For today's entry I submit the gateway between the Americas: Panama. Obviously, Panama is most famously known for the canal, but the country has incredible natural beauty, and as seen here, its capital, Panama City, has a large, vibrant, and modern downtown. The country may be small in size but I still found plenty to do and see here!

Sunrise on Easter Island.
Every morning on my stay on Easter Island i tred to get a snap of the sunrise but every morning it rained. On my last day the rain cleared in the morning and I got this snap of a Moai by the ocean.

This is the Gate of the Sun of Tiwanaku these days, dug out of the rubble and standing erect again.
The Bolivian site was destroyed by immense cataclysms, of which the Sun Gate was one of the few constructions that survived
Some think that it might have been part of a wall and it is considered to be a solar calendar of the Earth in a distant time when the length of a solar year was different.

Today I bring you this intense sunset in the bay of Juangriego on the Island of Margarita in the Caribbean Sea. Whenever I have the opportunity, I visit this beautiful bay to contemplate its beautiful and unbeatable sunsets, it seems as if the fire had seized the sky ... I hope you like it ...

Valle de La Luna in La Paz, Bolivia

The Valle de La Luna is an amazing landscape that can be reached from La Paz, the biggest city in Bolivia, with a short bus ride. It looks like a muddy version of the Bryce canyon!

As if it were an eye looking at us from the sky so I describe this wonderful sunset sun reflected in the sea in the city of Puerto La Cruz Venezuela, on a trip from Margarita to Puerto La Cruz by ferry we can find this wonder of nature. This is one of the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen.

This beautiful sunset was taken in Caracas. In this city the sunsets are very nice with spectacular colours, in this occasion a deep yellow/orange. The photo shows the southern hills, the city is surrounded by hills and mountains.

Here is a photo I shot from a train when I traveled from Oruro to Uyuni, Bolivia. It's simply amazing that you get this sort of view from the train windows! I was hoping that train journey never ends when I sat by the window then. =)

Sunset in Cassino beach - southern Brazil

This time I bring a photo of my own place, the last bit of coastal line in Brazil and also the largest beach (drivable) in the world - 250 km os sand and dunes, where the Atlantic ocean mixes with the blue sky.

Sunset of soft colors in the waters of "la Galera" on the Isla de Margarita - Venezuela. There are places like this that have a special color, mainly when the sun sets and fills it with all that unmistakable brightness that captivates and hypnotizes many.
