Welcome to my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Tuesday of Antarctica and World´s Oceans - where the winner of the weekly round will be able to participate for the total of 200 SBD!
Today, you can participate by submitting your personal pictures from your travels to the continent of Antarctica. I am also adding World´s Oceans to the same challenge to allow more Steemians to compete in this contest.

The ice that calve off glaciers form huge floating icebergs that slowly drift with ocean currents until they melt into the sea. As temperatures warm this will result in sea levels rising.
Your entries need to be submitted by 8 AM Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.
Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total.

Starting the day with a view: this photo was taken in the second day of 2018. And the year started with a great ballon ride, during sunrise. For what we were told, due to weather conditions no flights had been done for over a week, so that day there was a hue amount of balloons flying. We didn't had a clear sky, but with views like this... it wasn't a problem! Edit: photo taken in Capadocia, Turkey.

It does not get more iconic than the Sydney opera house. At first nobody wanted it - now everybody on this planet knows this piece of architecture and identifies it with Sydney. Best seen like in this picture, is the opera house from the base of the habour bridge right by the Hyatt Sydney. I marked the exact spot on steemitworldmap.com.

ColorChallenge - Purple Sunday - @karma-panorama in 7 World's Continents Photo Challenge!
Luxury sun beds in front of a hotel with the Caribbean Sea in the background in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. Just like Cancun, Playa del Carmen used to a sleepy fishing village until recently but these days, it is a bustling city and one of the most famous tourist hotspots in the country.
The marinas and ports are one of the common ways that mankind has modified the coastlines for its profit. The photo was taken in a marina in Adriatic city of Trieste in Italy, during the magical golden hour of the sunset.
Picture taken during my road trip in the South of France, but unfortunatelly I can´t remember the name of this smal town. The port was in the centre of the city. Good pohots and ideal for a drink or meal overlooking the port. Much is written about Provence and it´s beatufiul part of France.

You have already found yourself face to face with an animal of a size such that its presence is in itself a means of communication. The feeling of being questioned, analyzed, scanned! Unforgettable.
Venezuela, on the way to Caracas.
A glimpse out of the plane's window on the way to Caracas, Venezuela.
This coastline was fascinating as we flew along the shore from panama to caracas. This must have been somewhere between Puerto Cabello and Caracas. The uniquely shaped mountains reaching the shoreline offered a pretty first view to this country. I do hope the best for Venezuela's Future!
Early spring ar Curonian Gulf, Lithuania with a lot of ice flowing after frozen river break up. Amazing view combined with pretty colorful sunset and some reflection on clear water surface

This picture is from the Caribbean a few years ago. I miss the ocean, it as been a while since I had the chance to go swim in the ocean and I miss it a lot. The blue sky and palm tree makes me want to take a drink and enjoy life.
