WARNING: The use of images that are not your own on which you claim the ownership will be flagged and/or reported to @steemcleaners - HELPING TO STOP PLAGIARISM ON STEEMIT

Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @libork:

Malá Strana by night. Malá Strana (Lesser Town) is one of the historic districts of Prague. It is located on the slopes below the Prague Castle on the left bank of Vltava and was founded in 13th century.

Prague is a city of diverse architecture. She also says the city of a hundred spiers. There are places from which you can really see this number. One of these places is on the Letna plain.

We sure have a image for today's contest:)... Thank you.

Beauty of Czech landscape in spring. A yellow rapeseed field, deep coniferous forests and blue sky. I took this image when biking around the Silesian villages of Radun and Vrsovice but there are many places with scenic views like this one all over the country :)

Charles Bridge before Sunrise

One more composition of Charles Bridge from the very low point of view. I had to almost lie on the ground with my tripod with fully splitted legs. No people were around that early and even no photographers. First people started to appear in 15 minutes after I made this capture.

This square is impressive with all its different building styles! You can see the history of Prague through its architecture. The Old Town Square should be the number 1 spot to visit on anyone's trip to Prague. Old lanes and streets, clean, with no hassle,no stray dogs or cats, lots of tourists type shops.

Rotunda of Saint Martin .jpg

The rotunda of St Martin is the largest and oldest preserved rotunda in Prague. It was built in the second half of the 11th century. It has escaped demolition several times in its history. During the Thirty Years’ War it was used as a gunpowder store. The cannonball embedded in the façade to the right of the window is a reminder of the Prussian rampage in 1757. The rotunda is now used for religious purposes by the Vyšehrad ecclesiastical chapter.

Sunset over Žermanice water reservoir
Only about 20 km away from Šance reservoir mentioned by @czechglobalhosts in his recent post. Žermanice dam is used as water reservoir for nearby industries and for recreational purposes, water sports and fishing.

Hmm, truly stunning photo. Great job. T.

Beautiful scenery and a relaxed stroll along the river Ohři. svatošske skály, National Nature Monument, Karlovy Vary.
Beautiful place, a stone's throw from Karlovy Vary. Of Doubi foot or perpendicular, after a few minutes you can already admire the petrified wedding and its surroundings. Nearby is a restaurant and a campground with refreshments. Along the river you can continue to Loket.

Beautiful Czech nature.

Faust's House, Karlovo náměstí, Nové Město, Praha 2
P1080309.JPG
The legend of Faust lives in Europe from the 16th century. Perhaps in every old Europe we will find some Faust's house ... This one is in Prague.
Beneath it is a pagan burial ground. In its foundations of the 14th century, seven cat skeletons were found. The house was in fact owned by alchemist Magister Edward Kelly in 1590, and later by the enlightenment scientist, Count Mladota. And during the bombing of Prague by the Americans in February and March 1945 all the buildings in the area were destroyed or damaged. Only this one no. Who knows ... Today there is a pharmacy.

TRDELNÍK.jpg
The Trdelnik is a traditional Czech pastry, wrapped around a cylinder, rolled in cinnamon sugar and then baked. We ate it at the Prague Christmas Market.

The Czech people know how to enjoy life's simple, beautiful moments. It's one of the reasons I like them so much. In today's photo I have an example of that as this man and his dog enjoy a nap at the base of the Krannerova kašna near the Vltava River in Prague. This fountain was built by Josef Kranner, who also did some design work on St. Vitus Cathedral in the Prague Castle.
