Hello fellow Steemians!

I am here with another round of my photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below. I host this photo challenge twice a week - on Tuesday and Friday.

You can submit your entries in the current round from now until Tuesday, 6 AM (CET). Please, don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

The best 15 entries of the round will be rewarded with my upvote. I will also pick the absolute winner of the round from these 15 photos and reward him with an extra upvote on one of his recent posts published on the Steem blockchain. The winning photo will be also featured as the cover image for the next round of the photo challenge to give the author some more exposure and publicity.

There were many great entries submitted in the last round of the Prague/Czech Republic Photo Challenge and I had a hard time picking the absolute winner. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @nenio:

Without doubt Charles Bridge is one of the most famous and visited monuments of Prague. This photo is sepia tone of the bridge gives a nice and nostalgic mood to the image. The river crossing is also other usual touristic attraction of the city.

Congratulations, @nenio! It is my pleasure to upvote one of your recent posts.

Thank you for your submissions everyone. Have a great day and keep on Steeming!

So happy to be able to participate here again! Let me share this landscape shot that I took just a few hours ago, minutes before it started to pour from those dark clouds. The plants in the foreground are called ground elders and they are very common on Czech meadows and fields.

My first visit to Prague dates back in February 2012. And browsing through the photos i took, I discovered a very interesting photo - that till this day i still don't actually know the meaning of it.

DSC01345.JPG

It's a photo of 4 human sized guns. It was taken around 50m away from the Charles Bridge.

Is this still in Prague? Could anyone explain the meaning of it?

If you cross the Charles Bridge from Mala Strana and turn onto a parallel street, you can go to the German Embassy. It is very quiet, there are practically no crowds of tourists, or no ordinary population. It’s just how beautiful it is on these narrow gravel-lined streets. You are in a fairy tale from which you don’t want to return :)

Bitov castle is located in south eastern part of the Czech Republic about 30 km from Znojmo. Its history starts in 13th century and its interiors are very richly equipped. The castle collections of china and mounted dogs and other domestic and exotic species you can also see n guided tours. In the garden from which the photo is, are bred peacocks, parrots and ducks.

I will have to look through my photo albums... i have nothing digital from my time there. I spent two months in Cesky Krumlov in 2000 and a month in Praha and loved it so much.
