The Dilapidated City. Goat Settlement

I continue to document the outgoing look of the old Great Ustyug. This time I wandered into the microdistrict of CDH–Creamery, which used to be called Goat Settlement in ancient times. In this part of the city there are only a couple of significant enterprises and infrastructure: the central district hospital (CDH) and the creamery. The main area is occupied by the private sector and quarters with three-storey multi-apartment brick houses.

I decided to make this series of photos in black and white as an experiment.

This neighborhood is considered prosperous: the area is not flooded, the city center is very close, the roads are in good condition.

In apartment buildings, as always, there are private garages.

Between the houses you can freely drive by car.

There are houses for two, and there are for three floors.

There are very few through passages between courtyards and streets, I found only one.

Immediately below the windows are vegetable gardens.

Snowdrift height over two meters! It was necessary to stand next to compare.

You may ask, what else is the dilapidated here? In the peremershka with brick houses sometimes there are old wooden, and just I wanted to show how the ancient area has changed.

Houses on four apartments - two of them immediately lead to the second floor.

The courtyards are partially lit, in some places full of darkness.

In every yard there is a huge pile of snow, which is an excellent attraction for children.

The development is dense, but cozy, although there is no place to put the car.

There are several houses built in the 1930s.

They immediately stand out among the usual brick.

You can't call it dilapidated, but redecorating this house would not hurt.

There are a lot of such houses in this neighborhood. And they are only here.

I still found an old barn!

It is located next to a non-standard brick house, in which there is no hot water.
