Thanks for putting together this post. I have been toying with trying one of the services like this (Air BNB/VRBO) but I have always been a little hesitant to do it. I know a lot of people that use them though and they have never had an issue. I like your first two points. They make a ton of sense and I think next time my wife and I travel somewhere we might have to look into this. It looks like you had a great time and the pictures are beautiful.
