Taking Prayer Wheels for a Spin
This is a bit of a test to see when and if this will actually post. It's an old post resurrected which no-one much saw.
It seems pretty appropriate though since many people are praying that Steem picks up soon. 😂
One of the things I really loved about Nepal was how many opportunities there were for peaceful moments even in, what often seemed, like chaos.
Even in the busy cities you can find calm within yourself by meditatively walking along a row of prayer wheels such as these and offering up a prayer/thanks as you gently spin them.

Nice photo of them. Do you know how they are used? I'm guessing the script on then is legible to someone but, then, is the prayer cyclical? Perhaps each one is a sort of spiritual Song That Never Ends.
I did know once @fotosdenada but I've forgotten and I'm feeling too tired today to look it up! 😂
You do see the locals just walk past them and set them spinning though. Sometimes they are in a circle and you see them walk round and round but I saw more where people just walked past, spinning them as they went. 😁
