Pit Stop in Must See, Beautiful Castle Combe! 🌟 🏰

I woke up in London to the dreary rain that is synonymous with UK weather. Completely unprepared for that, I decided to make use of that time as a driving day! I was bursting to get out of the city and into the countryside so I took off and drove into the hills! To be honest, most of the day was battling what appeared to be hail on the windshield and cursing the grey fog that was blurring out the sidelines but finally, the skies began to clear just as this cute little town came up on my nav. 🏰 I'm in love with the architecture! 😍 If it hadn't been so cold, I would have spent all day looking around but without the sun, this girl can barely survive outside! 😉 The village is said to be 12th to 13th century build, named after a castle that was about 1/3 mile to the north. It prospered in the 15th century and is now lined with modern cars in the drives and still hosts a weekly market in the Community Hall! Surrounded by nature, you can come here and take one of the trail heads for a hike through the forest! I didn't get the chance but I stuck my head into the path and it looked like a fairy tale! ⚔️💜 Until next time! XO, Cece
