#31 Haas Travels, Bangkok, Jim Thompson and live Music (pictures)

Just two months into my new adventure and life here in Bangkok! By now I must say it feels more and more like home to me. Still need to extend my social life and network here but I made a good start.
As many like you do, I love traveling but as tourist you are only able to explore a little of the destination you go to.
That’s why I am always more excited and do feel blessed as well if I get the change to life somewhere long term.
After Australia, Canada and my adventure on Cruiseships, Asia is the 4th continent where I am able to work on. Not even being a digital nomad!

By now I am still getting the touristy things out of the way but more and more I am finding local hangouts where I can really enjoy Bangkok.
Today I have a mix prepared for you, the Jim Thompson House and some nice pubs and restaurants….

Okay I got too enthusiastic in showing the Jim Thompson house, hope you liked it. Now that’s a guy that lived in Asia long before the tourism took over and most people are able to travel now.
Great inspiring pioneer. So, if you ever in Bangkok just stop by, it’s very close to all the shopping malls you most likely visit anyway. It will costs you 200TB and the tour takes 35 minutes.
