A Fully Loaded Day In Prague. “Zlute Lazne” River Beach
After a long flight from Hong Kong to London we finally made it to one of our most favourite cities in the world -Prague. You know that epic song “Just a perfect day”? Well that was what we were blessed with yesterday.
We totally nailed the weather so although we were tired after an overnight flight, we just settled in the apartment, took a shower and went out to enjoy the beautiful sunny sights of Prague, which for us consists mainly of beer gardens and patios that Vancouver can only dream about 😂🍻
The above picture is from Hany Bany pub on Prague one, where we went with my new friend and client Peter, who bought two of my paintings and flew all the way from Ireland to pick them up.

After copious lunch we decided to do something to preserve our bodies slender and strong so we took a tram to “Zlute lazne”, an amazing river beach complex right on board of Vltava river
Zlute lazne = highly recommended!
Choice of over 6 bars and restaurants and plethora of sports activities
We rented ping pong for an hour and had a blast playing on the sun. Gladys learned so fast she became a dangerous adversary in no time!
Fun story: we got approached by the marketing team of the complex while playing and got asked if they can take a picture of us for their website. We didn’t mind and got free sports activity of our choice !
We selected kayak and went couple kilometres up the stream of Vltava river .
Gladys was very good with the paddle and we had an absolute blast exploring bridges, houseboats and river bars ☺️
After 3 solid hours of sports we ended up relaxing on the beach, sipping the unbeatable world famous Pilsner Urquel 🍻
It was an amazing day and we went for Hany Bany for dinner and to watch the World Cup hockey match. Czech Republic was playing with Switzerland and won 5:4 after 2 hours of suspense and cheering. What a cherry on top of the cake to end the day!!
If o go to Prague in warm months and you like beach and sports make sure to go to Zlute Lazne. For 50CZK ($2,4) you’d have hard time finding a better place with so much to offer!

Prague is a great vacation destination. I've spent a couple of hours when I was driving through the Czech Republic an year ago and I absolutely loved it. It was night and the lights were magnificent.
Haven't had the chance to spend more days there, but it's a future destination.

It was so much fun in the river! To this day I have a blister on my thumb from paddling so it must have been great 😂
