Street Festival in Waikiki
There are lots of vendors selling handmade items made of Koa wood found only in Hawaii. In addition there are many food vendors selling all types of food and drinks.
This guy was using a chisel and a larger piece of wood to carve a figure. He also used his wooden hammer and a Phillips screw driver to carve a lady’s name on the back of a plaque. The lady watched him work, paid for the plaque and then gave the guy a $10 tip.
The food looks very appetizing and there are many people lined up to buy it all.
There is a lot to see but my body thinks that it is late at night instead of early afternoon. Time travel is real. Stay tuned for sights and sounds in Waikiki tomorrow. Good night.
