PEACEFUL LANDSCAPE.

I posted several photos of our Iceland trip so far. It was our first adventure with the DJI Mavic Air drone. As mentioned before I had some trouble with the gimbal as well as with the connection to the drone. Often times it just stopped for seconds or the video quality dropped significantly. I don't know what's wrong with the gimbal but it sent an error message several times during the two weeks. A new calibration of the gimbal solved the problem most of the times. The lastest updates improved the problems in some ways. Actually I didn't have that much time to use the drone lately.

First image: We came trough a long tunnel and boom the light hit our eyes. Most tunnels in Iceland are rarely lit and some of them have just one lane. So you have to drive really slowly and stop at little pull-off areas to let the other cars pass you. In all the tunnels we noticed that they had speed controlls installed. So be aware of it!
The tunnel was higher above sea level so the road was leading down towards the shore. The little river was flowing on the right side. I just had to pull over to get some photos. What I didn't realize was that the wind was blowing quite strongly. The road was somehow protected by the mountains on each side. That way I guess I didn't notice. Otherwise it was almost always windy in Iceland wherever we went.
To avoid the strong winds I first flew pretty low above the ground and the river. Although the display showed some wind warning I flew the DJI Mavic Air a little bit higher to get some shots. I guess it was worth it:)

Second images: This one was taken near Reyðarfjörður if I don't mix it up. It shows the rind road #1 which leads north to Egilsstaðir. Love those meandering courses of the rivers:)

Maybe I'll find some time to edit more videos from the trip. It's always the time which is missing. Have a great evening and STEEM ON!
