Best thing ever on getting a smile on a loved ones face!
Earlier in the week I decided to go for a spontaneous meetup 600 km from home. I took the nighttrain which was packed because of the local holiday to give a surprise meetup arrival at the airport. It turned out awesome and I didn't regret a second of doing it
Actually these kind of spontaneous things are actions that we should do way more often. The smile on someones face when they realized that you have made a big effort to see them is awesome.
Already the pre-fun was worth the actual effort. Acting like you are miles away while actually being on the other side of the door is super hilarious.
Being spontaneous...we should all do it a big more and a bit more often.

My best friend did that for my wedding - at the time, she could not get off work, but I was shocked when she came in crying and hugged me. I was so happy! 😱😁
