The plaster model was made by Ernst Neizvestny in new York in his Studio

The opening of the sculpture "Golden child" timed to the 50th anniversary of the victory over Nazi Germany. When Ernst was started work, for it provided a large enough amount of money. But in 1995, after inflation-it was a penny... But the author is not upset, because Odessa for him is one of the best cities on earth!
