A Breath of Freedom- what you need to know upon going to Mt.Manunggal

The city is always busy. I've been living in the chaotic road for all of my life. I'm working 9hrs a day 5 times a week. I needed a break from daily routine and the humid weather.

We took a night and a day off away from home. We camped for the night and trekked the next morning.

Going to Balamban took 1.5 hours from Ayala Cebu terminal. The V-hire costs 120Php. We got off at Magsaysay road. Afterwards, we took the public motorbike for 75Php and reached the campsite.

We brought our own tent. Area usage costs 50Php per person. There are also tent rentals at 300Php. One thing, the locals were very accommodating! Breakfast is also available at the campsite.

Entrance fee and maintenance fee cost 80Php. We hired a tour guide because it's a must. Believe me, the trek was a struggle. But once you've reached the peak, the view is totally breath-taking!
