The Dead Sea
Being surrounded by Israel, Jordan and Palestine, it is located 400 meters below sea level. No one can survive in this water as it has huge amount of salt concentrated in it. However it is reported that the clay around the Dead Sea is very useful to enhance your skin beauty. Other than that there are 21 types of minerals are available in it.
Swimming is impossible in the Dead Sea due to its high concentration of salt. However you can float on it. We know that the ocean has salted water, but the Dead Sea is more salty than other oceans.
Several visitors come and enjoy at the beach of Dead Sea. The salt and minerals are collected from the Dead Sea to make cosmetics and herbal sachets. Other than that the Dead Sea also provides asphalt and potash. Asphalt is used for Egyptian mummification and potash is used as fertilizers.
