This is a great post. A lot of people travel around but don’t take the time to “see” the places they pass through. Thanks so much for sharing this look back into the country’s history.

Fun to see your photos! I spent a week in Natchez a few years ago, although I never climbed to the top of the mound. It was an interesting town to explore.
