Old and Special Place – the Prisons of War.
In the Edinburg Castle there is very special place - the Prisons of War which appeared here in 18th century.
Honestly I did not assume to visit such museum in the Castle, but really it was interesting enough to see life of hundreds of prisoners and facilities of prison.
Most of all I was impressed with story about five-years-old boy prisoned during Trafalgar Battle in 1805.
Of course now this prison is a history and probably it is not necessary to spend more words. Just take a look ..
So the five year old was a drummer... He's too young to know what's going on. Why did they bring him to battle? How scared would he be when the battle was raging or when he was captured. I hope things turned out okay for him. Such a sombre thing to think about.
