Those moments you think it will be easy and it proves tricker than you thought....
On a trip to Phenom Penh, from Siem Reap, Cambodia my children made friends with some local children playing leapfrog with an old tire.
"That's too easy!"My son Kurt said as he watched the children push the tire chase it and leap over it.
The children at this stage didn't speak Khmer and the local children didn't speak English but everyone was having a blast. All the children collected the tire and set it in place for Kurt's turn.
The tire was also a little heavier than Kurt had expected, so he was given a little hand to push the tire so he could chase. This is where it all started to go a little askew for him.
The tire took off and he began to chase.....
and with a miscalculation of height and the last minute decision to put on flip-flops, and it was all over.......
A few scratches but that didn't put a hold on the play to be had.
I will never forget this day and certainly had a giggle when I thought about it today.

I’ll be back to check if anyone comments on income streams. Lit is the newest one for me. I love it. But I guess that’s not really “passive”.
I had a look but couldn't really get into it. I think with people saying it was "like" snapchat I was a little disappointed... feels more like steepshot which I don't mind. I will have to check it out again and give it a proper go! Thanks for sharing @metzli <3
Awesome how play is a universal language. I have a goal to get passports for everyone so we can start worldschooling. The only problem is my kids hate to travel.
Now they speak more Khmer it makes for more giggles on the mispronunciation of words lol. Maybe get your guys into travel with smaller trips where they get to "select" most of the itinerary. The children think the best trips are the trips planned by them. Well, at least that's what they think ;)
😂 Love me some flip flops, but yeah, not good in athletic situations. Looks like a trooper, though!
