Take a walk with me through the famous Secheny chain bridge in Budapest (original name Széchenyi lánchíd )
People of all time were guided by the desire to become famous and do something great so that it remains after them! And here is an example of this -we visited Budapest and saw in our own eyes the famous chain bridge of Count Secheny! This worthy man truly performed a great mission and combined into one whole two cities - Buda and Pest. And now we and you can enjoy one of the most beautiful bridges in Europe and a magnificent historic city, which lies on both banks of the Danube River...
The bridge is named after the famous Hungarian figure of the XIX century, the patron saint of art and politics, Count Istvan Széchenyi, who invested a lot of money and strength in its construction.

There, two terrible lions meet you, like strict guards, who look after the peace and tranquility of the city!
I live in the city of Lviv in Ukraine, where there is no river. Maybe that's why I always choose to travel the city where there is a river! And so I came to a place - about which I heard so much! And trembling covered me when I stood on the bridge and thought about how many talents and labor were invested in this magnificent building. At the bottom of my post you can watch a video that will give you a minute from the life of the Secheny Bridge.
Here's a bit of Wikipedia history:
Chain Bridge, or Szechenyi Bridge - a suspension bridge over the Danube River, connecting two historical parts of Budapest - Buda and Pest. Opened in 1849, becoming the first permanent bridge across the Danube. The extreme points of the bridge are: in Pest - Istvana Széchenyi Square; in Buda - Adam Clark Square
