Perhaps everyone in the world knows or heard about the mysterious picture of Leonardo da Vinci "Mona Lisa". This is the only picture that has been recognized as invaluable, so maybe that's why everyone wants to see it.

I also always wanted to see this masterpiece and therefore we went to the Louvre Museum where it is located.

You will need at least a month to see all the halls and exhibits that are presented in the Louvre.

We spent almost a day there and saw only a tiny part of everything. The most important thing is that we found a picture that very much wanted to see.

To save the picture museum created a special environment that costed more than $ 7 million.

Guards also put a special bullet proof glass because there were cases when visitors tried to destroy the picture with acid, various dyes or sharp objects.

Honestly, I was very tired of walking through the endless corridors in search of Mona Lisa so we decided to ask some museum worker. In about 30 minutes we have found it at last!

Entering the big room we got lost when we saw a huge number of people.

We tried to find a picture but we didn't succeed. We began to squeeze through the crowd closer to the center of the room and finally I noticed a small picture in the middle of a huge white wall. It was Gioconda.

I approached as closely as possible but it was still very difficult to see something in the picture. I made few photos and quickly went to the exit because people started to push. That's why i hate queues.

When I left Louvre, I bought a book about this endless museum where all the exhibits and pictures are described.

You will not be able to get around the entire Louvre, so it's best to flip through an interesting book with a cup of delicious coffee.
