Give yourself and your dogs a break

in #travel6 years ago

Planning of a great weekend getaway to relieve the week worth’s stress? Leave not the fun by yourself and bring your dog family with you. Everybody deserves a chance to relax, unwind and just be ourselves. And that, of course, includes all our important additional family "fur-iends" we have at home who bring joy to our lives.

After going home, you see your dogs’ tails happily waggling from seeing you. This activity of theirs tells a lot of emotions they want to convey to you, as their owner. This can be a sign of anger, distress or simply happiness. And just like when we put some muscle effort in smiling, dogs exert too when they waggle. So how about treating them once in awhile and just let them be themselves without you getting angry at them for doing it?

This pooch resort named La Manada Dog Hotel, which is located in Argentina and is an hour away from Buenos Aires was specially made for all our fur friends. It is equipped with a pool that they can impulsively dive in to and swim to their heart’s content, a mud and sand area that they can also swamp in to and just be as dirty as they can without them getting reprimanded and they can run free in huge open fields as well.

They have been hosting dogs for 15 years now and have gained a lot of loyal patrons coming in and out every now and then. But they can only host 35 dogs at a time, so better hurry up before the slots are all taken.

The owner of the said hotel wants dogs to enjoy and connect with nature. With this goal, traditional events, such as racing to the pool is one thing they offer to their hosts to get them all hyped up.

If you and your dog is a frequent guest, the hotel will celebrate and give your dog a cake to enjoy as well. But of course, some jealous guests will take a bite as well.

Sort:

Why do they do that? When dogs kick after going to the bathroom, they are using the scent glands on their paws to further mark their territory.

Yeah maybe, but the more obvious reason is actually they're covering their poop or pee with dirt. Like what cats do when covering their droppings. And very much like what humans do when flushing the toilet.

Also the territory thing only applies for male dogs. And territory marking only happens when dogs pee a little with one leg up.
