Trip to Limon
Hi friends, I'm writing from the Caribbean side of Costa Rica, specifically from Puerto Viejo an small fishing (and now touristic) village. It is a great place to enjoy and relax, locals are usually hanging around, laid back and just being there. It is pretty different from any other beach in Costa Rica, specially if you have been to the Pacific side.
The journey started in a not so good looking forecast, showers where expected but I couldn't believe that driving through the Braulio Carrillo park was going to be that difficult and hard with this kind of weather.
It was a long drive and a slow one because of weather conditions and accidents because of the same conditions.
We finally made it after 2 hours of traffic jam that delayed our arrival. We made it and we deserve a beer with a nice looking ocean view.
Tomorrow we are going to Manzanillo National park and I hope to be able to post something about it ( unless wife complains of me spending time online).
