Away from keyboard #17. A guest house in Berchtesgaden
Last summer me and @wolf-of-sarcasm had our first big car jorney. We drived through Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany and reached Austria (Salzburg). Altho Austria wasn't our distanition, it was more of a additional bonus. We planned to get to Berchtesgaden in order to enjoy Bavarian Alps.
Berchtesgaden is often associated with the Watzmann. It is the third-highest mountain in Germany after Zugspitze and Hochwanner. The height of the mountain 2,713 m (8,901 ft).
I manage to take a picture of this mountain hosting a big cloud on its chest.
In the morning the clouds in this place fell very low to the ground. Although maybe it's just very dense fog.
By mid-day the clouds usually disappear.
Ein Gästehaus in Berchtesgaden
A guest house where we stopped is one of those places you can not book at the popular booking sites. My boyfriend came across this place last time he was in Germany. He and his friend had an improvised road trip and they didn't plan ahead where they will spend a night, so they found this place by a chance when they were looking for a hotel to rest after the long jorney.
And i must tell you, we loved this guest house! Why wouldn't we? It's located in an amazing place and has very interesting decorations :)
The owner of this house turns out to be a creative person. He sings and plays musical instruments. We were lucky to see one of his performances at the local restaurant during dinner. On the photo he is on the left.
And in the evenings we could enjoy the beautiful view and of course some delicious German beer ;D
Have a nice day, my friends! And if you liked the story... well, you know what to do ^_^
Away from keyboard #16. A walk to the Urach waterfall (Wasserfallsteig)

I love road trips in Europe, especially the Romantic Route in Bavaria through the small towns is delightful! I love how cozy the places in the photos were.
