Beautiful Rock Formations in Ulchisar | 卡帕多西亚洞穴

On one side of the Ulchisar castle, we are able to take a broad photo of the Cappadocian land with the town behind us.

In front of you, there is a small fortress with natural rock formations. One is in rectangular shape while the other one standing by it is in triangular shape. One would think that this is designed by human hands but they are not. They are all naturally formed from erosion resulted from volcanic eruption.

Lower down, you see low lying white rock formations. They look like snow on the ground but they are not. They are protected from the winds and very well preserved all these years.

Here is a map for you to drive into the Ulchisar town. Or you can take local buses to Ulchisar as they run quite frequently between towns.

You must make a visit to Cappadocia at least once in your life time. Make sure you spend some time walking some of these mountain trails when you come to Cappadocia. It is very natural and scenic.
