Over the centuries, these low lying rocks are preserved quite well in Cappadocia. These rocks were formed from erosion resulting from volcanic eruptions. This is surely a place for geologists to do their research.

Imagine the vast land of Cappadocia is occupied with all these rock formations. This is why tourists from all over the world come here to see this wonder land.

Cappadocia is located in Central Turkey. One can get here by plane, flying into Istanbul and then you can take domestic flights to Cappadocia.

We drove from Istanbul to Cappadocia. It takes about 3 days of easy driving.

You must make a visit to Cappadocia at least once in your life time. Make sure you spend some time walking some of these mountain trails when you come to Cappadocia. It is very natural and scenic.
