Each week here is filled with posts full of captivating scenery, stunning images and great stories. Basically, great travel blogs worth checking out. For those who still don't know about SteemitWorldMap

It's a fun tool made by @blueorgy and @martibis that allows you to pin your posts to a specific location or browse the world map where ideally every place on the map is a Steemit post. #swmchallenge is my attempt to make it more popular and build a community around it.

Travel blogs of the week

#1 Hiking to Forget Your Worries 去台灣杉林森遠足

@livinguktaiwan takes us on a hike near near Shanlinxi forest in central Taiwan. She started her hike at 1650 meters above the sea level and climbed up to Jinganshushan, just under 2100m. She walked the beautiful and extraordinary paths, surrounded by forrest. As she got out of the forest and continued to ascend further up, she discovered some tea plantations. Her last stop was Forget your Worries forrest, as she calls it.

#2 It is very pink but green!

Next, we join @rimicane as she takes us to one special place in the German town of Magdeburg. Green Citadel or Grüne Zitadelle as the locals call it is one magical place, it's very pink, but green as @rimicane describes it. With a lot of corners, walls, windows and doors! Every angle and even little things such as trash cans are decorated in the same manner. "It lifts up the area and adds a romantic charm" as she says.

#3 洞爺湖 & 登別遊記/Lake Toya & Noboribetsu Travels ulog#025

Finally, @yanyanbebe introduces us to magnificent Lake Toya located at South West side of Hokkaido, a famous hot springs location. The mountains around Lake Toya are not high and they make the lake look wide. She also shows us Noboribetsu Date Jidaimura, the village that lets us understand the life of a ninja. There are some souvenir stores, food shops and you can even enjoy the ninja show and oiran show.
