Orlando to Gatlinburg, TN Road Trip - DAY 1: Fresh Kitchen Review

My family and I are going on one of our favorite road trips! Highlights of the trip include: Atlanta GA 24hr Organic Restaurant, Alpine Helen mountain town, Enota Springs & waterfall, Asheville, NC and much more!

We'll be traveling from Orlando, FL to Gatlinburg, TN and stopping at tons great places in between. My husband is originally from Ohio and over the years of going up North to visit family we've discovered many gems along the way. This year we are only going as far as Gatlinburg for a family reunion but we'll still be hitting up all of our favorite spots. I'll be documenting a series of posts about our trip and I love that our memories are all preserved right here on Steemit!

Day 1 of our road trip begins in Orlando, FL with lunch at a healthier food spot called Fresh Kitchen. They are a buffet style restaurant which gives you a choice of bases like grains and noodles and then you can top it with protein, veggies, and sauces. They are like a healthy fast food joint!

The food isn't organic but it's real food without all of the artificial flavors and bad oils. Plus the whole menu is gluten free and it all tastes great!! All of the sauces are made fresh, each order comes with your sauce of choice.

They also have an amazing drink selection! The fountain sodas are all made with cane sugar and they have a wide selection of fresh made lemonades and teas.

They have a few locations here in Florida, including Orlando and Tampa. We've been to both now and both times where a great experience and highly recommend checking it out!
