A Visit to the National Gallery of Modern Art
One of my favourite things about living in Edinburgh are the free museums and festival atmosphere. Of course the whisky trails too! If you’re looking for something a little more contemporary, there are two National Galleries of Modern Art. A short walk from the picturesque Dean Village, you'll find them across the road from each other - Modern One and Modern Two. Modern One mostly features work from the twentieth century. Victoria and I really really enjoy impressionism, so this was perfect building for us. There was also a display of soviet art which was interesting. However, as you can see in the photo the weather was fantastic, so we didn't spend too much time taking photos indoors.
Those grounds remind me a bit of a golf course! 😁
Glad you're having gorgeous weather too.
I can totally see it!
Wow! That garden is amazing! An architect's work of art!
Yes! It's perfect to spend time there :)
Really nice photos 😊
