Exploring Moscow on Foot #5: The Grand Palace in Tsaritsyno Park

Tsaritsyno is probably my favourite park in Moscow. The estate lands underwent extensive renovation and currently look more elaborate than at any other time in its history. As you can see, it is home to the rebuilt Grand Palace of Catherine the Great, a massive lake and a charming mix of landscaped grounds and forest. Perfect for escaping the carnival sounds of a mega city, it has become the ideal place to enjoy a nature-filled retreat with a picnic.
