Mini Bolshoi Theatres!
Saint Petersburg is a city of palaces. I had already visited Winter Palace which was the official Tsar residence before the Bolshevik revolution, and had just spent the day visiting Peterhof Palace with Victoria. After a 45 minute taxi journey back to Nevsky Prospekt, we stopped off at the historical Singer House opposite Kazan Cathedral to do a spot of souvenir shopping. It was here that we came across 3D Puzzles of the Boilshoi Theatre, and having recently been there to watch the ballet performance of 'The Flames of Paris' we decided to have a go at building them over tea and pumpkin cheesecake. It was a nice way to spend the evening :)
