The West Bay of North Berwick

Edinburgh has plenty to keep entertained, but North Berwick is a pleasant train journey about 30 minutes east of Edinburgh whenever you need to escape the hustle and bustle. The coastline is split into two bays, and the above photo is taken from the West Bay next to the golf course. In fact, this part of Scotland is commonly referred to as ‘golf country’. Being a seaside town, it is home to traditional fish and chip shops, lobster shacks, ice cream parlours and quirky tearooms.
