Buddha Statue and Mountain God Hall in Cheongryongsa Temple of Seoul

Buddha Statue is the core of Buddhist faith. So Buddhas statue is located in the center of the main hall of the temple.

The window of the hall was so impressive with the reflection of the lanterns.

Buddha state itself in this temple was not special, but the painting behind of the statue was so vivid. What catching my eyes was the color of background. Black color seemed to not common in other temples. This black background made Buddha painting more vivid.

There was a mountain god hall behind of Dae Wung Jeon, the main hall of this temple. As usual, the mountain god hall was located in the highest place to protect the temple.

According to the explanation by nun, the painting was so special.
I photographed, but result was not so good due to the circumstances there.

The Buddha Statue and Mountain God Hall in Cheongryongsa Temple is such a beauty I mean look at the black colour I haven't really seen black colours but orange and yellow in temples, however it's so unique and special wow, awesome shots by you as well

you have a good creativity. You shoot the building and statue, reflection of lantern and get great photos. Even in a bad circumstance there you have tried to shoot the painting. i appreciate your hard effort.

@slowwalker, such a beautiful lanterns inside of hall. Awesome reflection giving through windows. These are various coloring. My eyes completely attraction there. The Buddha statues really calm with golden color paints. Mountain God hall small like other God halls. Beautiful background including area.
