Travel Tuesdays: Mellieħa, Malta, or, The Dessert Will Bloom
Travel Tuesdays is back, after a traveling hiatus of my own. :) Today I'm going to share a hike with you that I took with two friends in the north of Malta. Hiking in Malta is a fun thing to do in the spring and fall. We took this hike in April, and as you can see, the flowers come popping out of the rocks everywhere after the rain! By May, everything is completely dry and brown and doesn't wake up again until about October when the rains start, so you can imagine how we soaked up the beauty while we could!
I won't bore you with a lot of commentary, but just invite you to tie your metaphorical shoelaces and come along with us. :)

I hope you enjoyed this little excursion as much as I did. Have you ever gone hiking in the Mediterranean?
