Fall in Australia

Coming from Boston and before that Chicago Fall to me means trees changing colors, light jackets and a stiff cup of hot coffee. Now that I’m living in Sydney those visions of Fall have fallen to the wayside. I’ve trade in colourful leaves for palm trees. Instead of a light coat I’m wearing shorts and a t-shirt to beat the Fall heat. And that hot cup of coffee is a bit too hot for these 26-30 C(75-85 F) degree days so I’m getting it on ice. It’s crazy how our perceptions and routines are forced to change based on our location. I can’t say I’m complaining though!

    My deciduous tree is only just starting to think about shrivelling its leaves now so I think autumn is kind of thinking about maybe coming? XD I've been pretty happy with the warmer weather, hoping winter doesn't try to kill me :D

    We should be ok, I’d actually welcome a slight chill come June or July. That said I’m use to harsh Winters. It’d take a real disaster for a Sydney Winter to beat a Boston Winter 😊
