HOW TO TRAVEL ON A BUDGET | 10 DTUBE TRAVEL TIPS | TRAVEL CHEAPER
Good morning lovely people!
This morning felt like a perfect time to share some of our most favourite tip on how you can travel on a budget and save loads of money while being on the road.
So here are the 10 tips! Make sure that you watch the video for more details - and bread!
Travel at the cheapest time - use mostly overviews to pick your travel date
Be flexible in you travel destination - select “everywhere” as your travel destination to find the best travel destination
Travel in low season - going to Iceland in the winter and visiting Asia - during the rainy season - Europe in winter
Travel light - Bring only hand luggage - make sure to weigh your luggage before you leave your home (twice)
Private room instead of a hotel (Airbnb, go cheaper with Couchsurfing)
Ditch your Lonely Planet guidebook and choose local eateries that are not on the main city square over looking Acropolis lol - there is noting “off the beaten path” if all the tourists use it
Use public transportation instead of taxi
Do your research before you leave and avoid paying for organised tours - be your own guide
Consider working while you travel (even for a week as a volunteer)
10. Get comfortable with discomfort and don’t forget to treat yourself!

Great post, it worked for me as well when I was traveling, well I did not work, but its a great idea, I heard from friends who did work... (picking up strawberries in France and so on XD ). One that helped me to save a lot and travel more is that I cooked by myself when I could (hostel and so on..) That was usually great to save a extra buck, everyday eating out might be too much :P
